Last week we were very happy to receive the first letters sent by teenagers from East Hamilton School, Ooltewah, Tennessee.
The 24 students aged 14 to 17 wrote very nice personal letters in French. My students were very excited to get messages from their new American penpals and immediately wrote back...in English of course !!! Our American partners should receive a nice enveloppe very soon!!!!!
Meeting people from abroad, having fun together are important targets in this project; but practising and improving in both languages (French and English) is a main goal too for Mrs W. and myself.
